Our Outreach Minister, is from Independence Missouri, he married Mair (pronounced my-ah, celtic welsh) from Liverpool England in '87. The Lord has blessed them with 3 adorable daughters, Cairen, Hannah & Eleasah. Their family has seen the Lord's increase working with churches of Christ in Germany, Wales and England for 20 years, after serving in the USAF. Mair homeschools all three children at the moment and has a British degree in Adult Nursing and an HND in Microbiology. Their ministry at the West Olive congregation serves to introduce the gospel to the public and encourage new members in growing stronger spiritually. They look forward in helping to plant a new congregation in Buckeye, Lord willing, in the next couple of years and experience the same growth there as we have seen at West Olive.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our Ministers

     Ray is our pulpit minister here at West Olive. He was born and raised in the Detroit area and began preaching regularly at age fifteen. He attended Great Lakes Christian College and Freed-Hardman College to prepare himself for service to the Lord. Following college, his first twenty-two years as minister were spent laboring with small congregations in Ontario and Quebec, Canada. He also served as Dean of Students and Bible teacher at Great Lakes for three years. Ray and his wife Stanna have been a part of the West Olive family since July of 1989 when Ray began his service as our preacher.  Ray’s favorite hobby is playing golf.
